Lakers Forever, Mamba Forever.

I suppose after years and years of rebuidling, as a life long Laker Fan, its difficult to stomach all the losing for what seems like close to a decade now. However, I believe in Jeanie Buss, who knows the heart of basketball like few have or will. Her father, the Great Jerry Buss, is in my estimate the best owner basketball has seen. I will die loving the Lakers. Its a Forever thing. I know the real Laker die-hards out there feel me on that one.

I have been watching the Lakers since I can remeber. My earliest memory was falling in love with Kareem's Skyhook and the being captivated by the magical gameplay of one Earvin "Magic" Johnson. The game contained so much grace and finesse then. I was born in 1980, the year the nba introduced the 3 point line, and the beginning of the Showtime Lakers.

I am slowly developing the content and construct of the website, so please be patient with me Lakers fans, I do read your emails and messages and know how important it is to all of you that I get this right for our community. I am a one man operation for now and look forward to developing this into a premiere destination for Laker information and conversation.

A special congratulations to Kobe Bryant for winning an Oscar in the very same catergory that once yielded so many awards for Walt Disney. For those who have yet to see the short or for those who have and want to see it again, here you go!
